The minor division is open to players 8-10 years old. In this division the players pitch, helping to develop more skills and building on their baseball techniques. In Minors division coaches teach more fundamentals needed for the next division and turn up the strategy side of baseball. The players will start to develop proper technique and begin to learn the strategies needed to be successful in baseball. During the time spent in this division the games become more fast pace and competitive, teaching kids the nature of the sports.
Maricopa Little League provides a safe, fun and competitive environment to help excel your children's baseball endeavors. The fall season is meant to be focusing on the fundamentals, in order to prepare the players for the competitive spring season. In addition, players will be provided their registration options based on what age they will be in the spring. This is also to help prepare them for the spring season.
